My Bio
DINOSAUR CROSSING ZONE!
Drive slowly! The dinosaur you save may be me!

I have been taking photos mainly for myself since the early 70's. Still prefer film over digital for B&W shots.

Most of my work is what I see through the viewfinder as I wander around, unplanned for the most part and is nothing more than a "memory" of a moment frozen in time by the camera's shutter.

Should you find something that you like as you wander thru my "Memories", feel free to create a new memory for yourself.

Current Residence: Der haus im wald
Personal Quote: "so ist das leben"

If it gets down to viewing only the unrestricted groups images, I think that it would be a better  selection than some elitist group with a narrow focus. I think that when other people decide when someone's images are good enough to be include

Color will be fading out in my gallery as I shift back to my true love of Black and White images. You may see some seasonal color as the mood strikes me but mostly this place is going dark! !

Standby for more details but pretty much anything goes in this series! 1. Using a B&W Orange foliage filter on color shots, really brings out the green and gives the images an overall warm tint to anything not green. 2. Cross Developing Kodak BW400 CN film using Kodak D-76 B&W Developer: The film is actually  a C-41 color negative film which is normally developed in the same chemicals as color film. It gives some interesting color effects when scanned as color negatives but is fairly common looking scanned as a B&W negative. If you want to try this yourself, the D-76 is a 1:1 mixture at 17 minutes. I used "once used" D-76 of a 1:1 mixture a
